We bring international audiences to cinemas showing films in English
ExpatMondo runs city sites across Europe that list films showing in English and link each screening to the cinema's own booking page.
In much of Europe, most films are dubbed into the local language. Yet every one of these cities has a large audience that wants to see them in English. Expats, international students, people working for international companies, visitors, and locals who want to hear a film the way it was made. Many of them like going to the cinema, and many go less often than they would like to.
The reason is friction. English-language screenings are a small share of the programme, the listings are scattered, and dubbed and original-version showings sit side by side. "Original version" doesn't always mean English. Working out where and when a film is on in English takes effort, and plenty of people give up and stay home.
ExpatMondo takes that friction away. Some of our visitors would have found you anyway. For many, we're the reason they go at all.

Working with cinemas
Our city sites send people to cinemas' own booking pages every day. We'd like to send more of them to yours.
We don't sell tickets or add fees. Every booking happens on your own site, at your price. Every cinema's English-language screenings stay listed whether or not we work together.
We'd like to work more closely with cinemas and cinema groups to reach this audience better. That could mean featured placement on our city sites, mentions in our city newsletters, or campaigns around original-version programming.
Email me at klaus@expatmondo.com and I'll send you a one-page overview. A short call is usually enough to see whether there's a fit.

About
Klaus Jensen, founder

I spent a lot of time in Kyiv, and later in Barcelona and Berlin. Each time I wanted to go to the cinema far more often than I did. Finding a film in English meant digging through cinema websites in a language I didn't read well and guessing which showings were dubbed. More often than not I gave up and stayed home, with money I'd happily have spent on a ticket.
So I built a site that solved it in Kyiv. Then I built one for Barcelona, then for other cities I knew, and in 2026 for the rest. I founded and built ExpatMondo.
ExpatMondo is operated by Liberatum Solutions Ltd, Malta. I'm based in Berlin.
